WHO AM I?

My name is Heide Walker and I have been a full-service real estate agent since 1978. I was a legal secretary for a large law firm in the 70's. I left being a legal secretary because I only saw my typewriter and went for coffee for the boss. I am a people person and want to make a difference in people's lives. I truly enjoy helping people find a home whether it is their first or second, buying or sell, whether you are downsizing or moving up.

I live and work in Toronto, and raising my son Mackenzie who is 17. I have two dogs and two cats, two birds, many fish, 3 rats, one mouse and one son - we love animals! As you can see, I am very busy..... they say "if you want something done, give it to a busy person". Well that person is ME! I specialize in residential real estate. I understand the importance of superior customer service. Honesty, commitment, hard work and perseverance are among my traits - and I work for you. I love to talk REAL ESTATE.............. I am a great supporter of The Hospital for Sick Children and a portion of every commission is donated to the Hospital. I so the breakfast club for Secord Public School for kids that go without, and Meals on Wheels for the elderly. I sponsor a team each year with the Topham Park Baseball League (HeidesHomes). They won the championship in 2004! I have also sponsored East York Soccer Teams.


HOBBIES

I love scuba diving and in 2005 my son became a certified diver. I enjoy playing baseball and have been on the RE/MAX team as well as a women's team. I enjoy biking, rollerblading, actually anything that has to do with the outdoors. I have parachuted from planes, flown small planes when I was young and daring. I love to watch my son play his sports and enjoy walking the dogs, and most of all travel to exotic places like Africa which I did in 1998. I dove with whale sharks and manta rays, I narrowly missed a lionfish. I also enjoyed going on a safari, where a mother warthog chased me around a tree because I stopped feeding her and her daughter pineapples. That was a challenge, and I love challenges!


WHY AM I DIFFERENT?

You're the real judge of this, but I will try to answer anyway. My job is simple: It is to help my customers buy or sell their homes in a way that is satisfying, enjoyable, and free from pressure. I take my job very seriously because in most cases your home is the most valuable asset, so when you buy or sell your home you are taking an important step. My main concern is having Happy Clients!!! Happy clients are the foundation upon which I build my business because my business is based on referrals. How do I make sure my clients will be happy? By listening very carefully to what you tell me since I work for you, by treating you with the same care which I would give to my parents if they were a client, by putting your interest above anything else. I will provide you with the knowledge that you need to make the right move! I provide you with round-the-clock service even after the deal has closed. YOU are number one, not me!
